U35 Sponsored Place

International Marine Claims Conference

U35 SPONSORED PLACE

Since 2010, IMCC has offered a sponsored place at IMCC.  The aim of this is to encourage participation at Conference for those in the earlier stage of their career in marine claims..

As with previous years, IMCC is delighted to be able to offer a sponsored place at IMCC 2019 for a candidate fulfilling the criteria listed below. The conference fee will be waived for the successful applicant although they will be required to meet their travel costs to and from conference.

Applicants should:

  • be 35 years of age or younger
  • be employed as a marine claims handler within an insurance company, broker or P&I Club
  • write a short submission on why they should be considered to be awarded this place
  • not have attended a previous International Marine Claims Conference

The sponsorship will be awarded to the candidate that provides the best submission on why they should attend, and will be judged anonymously by the IMCC Strategy Group.

For 2019, IMCC is delighted to announce that two successful applicants have been awarded a place:

Katie Sales, MS Amlin, London

Tomaso Roncallo, Siat, Genoa
