In 2008, IMCC formed a Strategy Group to assist the organisers and to reach out to markets internationally. Members are representatives from around the world, many of whom sit on their own market claims groups. They give guidance on the topics that will be included each year together with advice on the composition of delegate attendance at IMCC. Their input is greatly appreciated by the Organisers.
Having known the Englishman longer than Charlotte, it was no surprise that Ann was coerced (in the nicest possible way) to join Charlotte when the first seeds of IMCC were sown back in 2003/4! Sixteen years on extracting oneself has proved difficult when faced with Charlotte’s persuasive powers. After a 34 year career in the marine market, mainly on the broking side, but seven years on the insurer side with Dex, Ann formed her own consultancy company, AW Marine, in 2013 allowing her more control of her work diary, and of course the odd game of golf. During 2016, Ann has expanded her business to include business coaching after completing an Executive and Business Coaching Course, and becoming a member of the International Coaching Federation.

Charlotte Warr studied law at Southampton with the avowed intent that she would return home to Guernsey to practice law by the seaside but then she met an Englishman and the rest as they say is history. Having spent time both in private practice and working as a claims adjuster in the London insurance market she now spends her time teaching others – or as she puts it brainwashing them to try and help them avoid making all the mistakes she made along the way (which do not include sticking with the Englishman which was the best decision she ever made!).
