Ton van den Broek

After studying at the Nautical College “Michiel de Ruyter” at Vlissingen, Ton went to sea as a ship’s
engineer for Shell Tankers.
The sailing career lasted for 9 years after which he was “buried alive” as a senior process operator
(aged 28!!!) for Shell Chemical Netherlands.
This part of his career, luckily, lasted for approximately 1 year as it was a terrible bore!
May 4th 1987, he joined the forces of Corocor, what later became Recontec and finally, after being
acquired by BELFOR, BELFOR Technology (Netherlands) BV as project manager.
Since 2007 Ton serves the “BELFOR Countries” Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, UK, Spain
and Singapore as Technical Sales Consultant.
