Gini Mattson

Gini Mattson, Esq., is the Practice Leader for Marine at Envista Forensics. She has over 20 years of experience and knowledge of marine operations and Admiralty law. Until recently she was the Ocean Marine Recovery Specialist with Zurich Insurance evaluating legal liability and actively managing subrogation efforts on Ocean Marine and Inland Marine claims. Previously Gini has worked primarily in the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach as a Superintendent, Vessel Planner, Labor Relations Manager, and as a Liability Claims Manager actively overseeing all general liability, cargo, and equipment claims, in addition to performing litigation management duties. 

Gini holds a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, a United States Coast Guard Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage License and a Juris Doctorate from Whittler Law School.  She is a Commander in the United States Navy Reserve Strategic Sealift Officer Program, maintains Proctor status with the Maritime Law Association and is a California Bar Association Admiralty and Maritime Law Specialist.
